25 facts about me:-)

Helloooo,
So I started this blog yesterday and I'm not really sure how to get a nice theme/layout (idk) but hopefully I can find out.
Also, my first post never really had an introduction about myself so I thought I'd do 25 facts about me as a sort of intro...

1) I chose 'Elizabeth' as my confirmation name so therefore I am the real life Emily Elizabeth from Clifford the Big Red Dog.

2) I am too interested in celebrities that it must be unhealthy for me but I seriously want to go into music management as a career when I'm older hehe.

3) In 2011, I saw Harry Styles and Ed Sheeran in zizis. They waved and took a picture of me and the other girls but didn't come out to meet us (the assholes).

4) I've never broken/fractured any bones.

5) I am so so scared of wasps and I think it's because in year 7 a wasp went down my top while I was in geography o.

6) I have a younger sister called Kate and she's 13.

7) I started ballet when I was 3 and continued it until I was 9. I would have loved to carry on but I was too afraid to go into a higher class and leave my friends.

8) I really love the names of lipstick and nail varnish shades o m g (this is my twitter bio @emilyyyy_)

9) I hate when I have to answer the question 'what are your hobbies?' because I seriously don't do anything except use twitter, instagram, watch youtubers and now blog.

10) I lost my concert virginity in 2009 to The Jonas Brothers. I have loved them for ages and I feel judged because of it o well.

11) My favourite shops are topshop and urban outfitters and I'm mostly a size 8 or 10 but I can fit into size 6 if it comes up quite big bc I'm small (5"3).

12) My favourite book series' are The Hunger Games and the 'I heart...' series by Lindsey Kelk.

13) Jennifer Lawrence is my girl crush.

14) I have never found a lipstick that actually suits me.

15) My favourites celebrities include; one direction (I've liked them since 2010 not just since they've become mega famous haha), 5 seconds of summer, Conor Maynard, Janoskians, District 3, The Jonas Brothers, loadsss of youtubers (probably forgot loads but just an idea haha).

16) I seriously love chocolate, egg and prawns (not together), I don't know why.

17) My GCSE options are Geography, French, Business Studies and Food Technology.

18) I can't sing, can't draw, really bad at sport (not much I can do haha).

19) My twitter achievements include; a tweet off Liam Payne, Jai Brooks follow, tweet off Alexander Ludwig (Cato from the hunger games) and others but they're my main ones.

20) I actually really love rap music too like A$AP Rocky and Lil Wayne but I don't think people realise that oops.

21) If I'm bored I will paint my nails or do a smoky eye.

22) I love it when people call me Em idk why.

23) I really love shopping in LUSH and I'd like to work there for a little while when I'm 18.

24) I can't hear an accent on myself but I'd love an Irish one, a Geordie one or and Australian one.

25) Bad grammar is probably my main pet hate.

So that's it!
Also, I think that I will post daily during half terms etc but maybe weekly once I've gone back to school..
Happy Bank Holiday Monday btw!!

Bicester Village Shopping Outlet 3/5/13

At the beginning of this month my friends and I went on a school geography trip to the Cotswolds. The trip was overall really good and we all had a lovelyyyy time. One of the highlights was definitely the last day. First of all we were forced on a walk around 'Slaughter' (yes, we made it out alive). But after that we were promised an afternoon in Bicester Village Shopping Outlet AHHHH.
Basically, loads of discounted, designer stores which we still couldn't afford yay!
It was so pretty though and it was a beautiful day so I had my camera out for the whole afternoon to take pictures.
I will display them down below :-) :

There were loads, loads more but there's a select few.
Moving on...
My friends and I were more or less there for one store and one store only...
THERE WAS A MAC COUNTER
• MAC prep+prime • MAC creamsheen glass in shade boy bait • MAC sheen supreme lipstick in shade royal azalea

We could also afford lunch (hashtag proud)!!

dat photography dayum

My fave; salmon and cream cheese bagel and strawberries and cream frappucino Y U M

Despite being a GCSE geography student, ironically I have absolutely no idea where most UK cities are found on the map, so if you're anything like me and don't know where The Cotswolds or Bicester Village is, I've helped you out a little bit!

The Cotswolds:

Bicester Village:

They are roughly a 50minute drive away from each other, so if you're interested in going I hope I have helped :-)

Overall, the day was a good, productive one because hey, I've made a whole blog post about it?

And The Candle Fetish Begins...

A shopping trip is never complete without the purchase of a candle.

I have recently developed a love for candles so I thought I would make my first post writing about our two favourites (this shouldn't take long).

Firstly, and obviously, we'll start off with a yankee candle.
I popped into 'Clinton's Cards' on my last venture to St Albans (one of my all time favourite shopping locations) and couldn't refuse taking this baby home with me...
I want to eat it!!!!
As you can see, it is the Vanilla Cupcake scent and the only word to describe it is delicious.
I bought it in a medium size and it was £10.
I would recommend this to anyone, as generic as it is, but it definitely is not overrated.

Just because most people do tend to opt for yankee candles, don't be afraid to venture out of your comfort zone because that's where you find even better products (sometimes)...

So, back in April I was shopping in the Shepherd's Bush Westfield with my friend. We obviously went into Urban Outfitters and unfortunately I had spent most of my money else where (shoutout to topshop) but I still had enough to buy - guess what - a candle.

Urban Outfitters actually have a fairly large range of candles which you can buy in cute little tins. I was literally crouched on the floor for about 10 minutes (no exaggeration)  trying to choose between candles. They all smelt super nice. In the end, I decided on this Raspberry and Papaya one over a Frankincense scent one, purely because we were 4 months past Christmas and into spring so it felt right to pick the fruity one over the Christmas-themed one.
It was priced at £6 which is definitely worth it as you will get several uses.
They have a shortened range on their website: http://www.urbanoutfitters.co.uk/search?q=candles&searchsubmit=&setpagenum=2&perpage=30

Also, I'd quickly like to mention my love for tea lights.
~ignoring the stain from the LUSH bubble bar (The Brightside)~
They are so so cheap and range in scents and colours. They are available from most shops including Asda and Wilkinsons and tend to come in sets of about 30, so you can use them quite frequently and don't need to buy anymore for a while.
Personally, I enjoy lighting a few candles when I have a bath so I find tea lights perfect for sitting on the edge as you can fit more than one.

So yeah, that's about it on candles.
But I'm going to finish off by saying that anyone reading this should definitely invest in the candles I have mentioned above or even buy them as a 'present for mum' but steal them anyway hehe!
